Magnetotherapy

Magnetotherapy

It is a physiotherapeutical procedure through the impact of magnetic field; there are permanent, alternating, rotating, pulsation and impulse magnetic fields. As a result of numerous clinical trials it was established, that biological tissues respond to impulse magnetic field most effectively.

The essence of the procedure is stimulation of bioactive molecules in tissues and enhancement of efficiency of their action with the help of impulse magnetic fields.

Clinical effects of impulse magnetic field, generated by ALMAG-02.2 device:

1. Pain relieving
2. Anti-inflammatory
3. Sedative
4. Hypotensive
5. Desensitisation
6. Anti-oedematous
7. Tropho- and immune-stimulating
8. Stimulation of microcirculation and lymph circulation
9. Stimulation of biologically active substances

Special effects of magnetotherapy:

1. Improvement of cerebral blood circulation
2. Fast rehabilitation after stroke
3. Restoration of damaged neural-muscular tissues
4. Relief of intensity of pain in the area of vertebra and joints, activation of regeneration mechanisms
5. Improvement of blood rheology
6. Improvement of histotrophic nutrition
7. Enhancement of immune system
8. Collagen stimulation

Indications of magnetotherapy:

1. Diseases of central nervous system: abnormality of conductivity of cerebral blood vessels; migraine; transitional ishemic episodes; discirculatory encephalopathy; ishemic stroke.
2. Neurological diseases: discogenic radiculitis; repetitive stress injury; traumatic injury of nerve endings; diabetic polyneyropathy; various types of neuralgia; syndrome of vertebral myelopathy; vertebrobasilar syndrome.
3. Cardiovascular diseases:neurocirculatory dystonia with hypertension; hypertony – 2-3 stage; ishemic heart disease – 1-2 stage; post-aortal bypass period; obliterating atherosclerosis of peripheral blood vessels; chronical venous insufficiency, lymphostasis; diabetic angio-neuropathy.
4. Chronical and acute diseases of musculoskeletal system: arthritis; arthrosis; coxarthrosis; podagral arthritis; rheumatic arthritis; scapulo humeralalis arthritis; chronical osteomyelitis.
5. Traumatic injuries of extremities:fracture, distention; damage of tendinous-ligament system; muscular damage, etc.
6. Infectious diseases of respiratory system: bronchial asthma; bacterial-viral pneumonia; exudative pleuritic; rehabilitation of post-Covid residual effects.
7. Diseases of digestive system:gastritis; duodenitis; reflux-esophagitis; gastroduodenal ulcer’ hepatitis of various origins; cholecystitis; biliary dyskinesia; chronical pancreatitis; dumping syndrome; post-cholecystectomy syndrome; irritable bowel syndrome, etc.
8. Otolaryngologic diseases: sinusitis; frontal sinusitis; chronical and acute eustachitis; chronical laryngitis; sensorineural hearing loss.
9. Various skin diseases: trophic ulcer; burn; hard-to-heal wounds.
10. As an auxiliary means for oncological patients, for prevention of recurrence after administered treatment (elimination of spreading of metastases).
11. Chronic fatigue syndrome.
12. Sleep disorders.

Counter-indication of magnetotherapy:

1. Pregnancy
2. Hemophilia
3. Presence of cardiac stimulators
4. Infectious diseases
5. Mental disorders
6. Hypotension
7. Tumorous formations
8. Cardiac decompensation
