Caucasian Yoga

Today, information about Caucasian yoga is extremely scarce. The only known source is the work of Stefan Colonna Walewski, which describes a unique system of psychophysiological and breathing exercises - "Caucasian Yoga". It combines energy, psychological and physical practices, the goal of which is the harmonious development of a person. Nevertheless, its effectiveness is still unproven and requires modern scientific research.

Caucasian yoga, compared to other Eastern systems, is almost completely unknown and has survived only in the form of legends. However, we believe that the centuries-old culture and knowledge of Caucasians contain deep roots in health and self-improvement.

"Clinic in Harmony" has launched research for this very purpose - a scientific analysis of the practices described by Walewski on the basis of modern medicine and psychology. As a result of the research, it was determined:

Exercises in their original form are not suitable for everyone - an individual approach is needed.

Unprepared practice can lead to physiological or emotional disorders.

A preliminary preparatory stage is necessary, where each person learns a breathing technique adapted to him.

In our studies (among 89% of participants), such an approach had a positive effect on both the physical and psycho-emotional state.

On this basis, a structured program of “Caucasian Yoga” was created, which includes three stages: diagnostics and individual assignment, monitoring and mastering the final universal algorithm. The main course consists of 12 practical lectures, which are held once every three weeks — in accordance with the pace of modern life.

Our goal is not only to preserve authentic knowledge, but also to scientifically substantiate it and translate it into safe practice — so that Caucasian Yoga can once again take its rightful place in the culture of health and harmony.
